Ingredients for 6 people
- Rice2 cups
- Lentils1 cup black lentils
- Pasta250 g short pasta
- Chickpeas1 cup, cooked
- Onion3 medium onions, sliced
- Tomato paste3 tbsp
- Garlic6 cloves
- Vinegar1/4 cup
- Cumin1 tsp
- Vegetable oil1/2 cup
- Saltto taste

Method
Fry the onion until crispy and keep the oil.
Boil the lentils until half-cooked, then add the rice with the onion oil, salt and water and cook until done.
Boil the pasta and drain.
For the sauce: sauté the garlic, then add the tomato paste, water, cumin and vinegar and simmer until thickened.
For the dressing (daqqa): mix crushed garlic with vinegar, cumin and water.
Serve in layers: lentil rice, pasta, chickpeas, sauce, and finally the crispy onions.
